Dvb time should be used.
The date/time signal is sent on a special dvb data stream (SI stream TOT/TDT).

Why are you asking?

I know about it.
Some satellites sent different dvb time , some transponders the same satellite sent different time also. For example, Russian satellites sent dvb time not gmt (Moscow time), there's several transponders on HotBird (I don't remember exactly) that have not exactly time (several minuts later or hurry up).

My idea is - to add option in Transponder Time - "Never correct time from satellite", because dreambox has exact clock.

Here algoritm -
after first turn on Dreambox read dvb time and install receiver time according dvb time. If that time is correct , I will not do anything, if that time is not correct I will correct the receiver time and check option "Never correct time from satellite".

What do you thing about that ?

As long as providers do not obey the DVB standard, a config switch for setting up time from "ntp / dvb / no auto update" would be useful in some cases.
